Waiting Patiently

It's getting closer... Everytime I feel a 'contraction' or what I know as a cramp, I wonder if I am going into labour. And then the symptom disappears altogether for a few days and I let out a huge sigh of relief.

"Good baby, stay inside till its time", I will tell my lil' one. But then every so often I wonder what it would be like for me to deliver early. For her sake (and to an extent mine), I do not wish for her to come too early. But the thought keeps returning. Also, at times, when she kicks me so hard and pushes down on me so heavily that I really have to use the toilet even though I just went, makes me eager to have the weeks go by quickly.

Overall, (I hope I don't jinx myself), my lil' one has been good and I can feel our love for her growing as my belly grows...
